As TruMark Financial’s CEO, Kelly Botti focuses on deepening her connection with credit union members and strengthening her understanding of both their needs and the needs of the communities the credit union serves. She is committed to ensuring TruMark Financial remains a community rooted in care, belonging, and trust; a place where the credit union values of integrity, service, and soundness are demonstrated every day. Prior to becoming CEO, Kelly brought over a decade of experience in banking and senior leadership to her new position. She previously served as TruMark Financial’s Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer and corporate counsel. In this position, she focused on facilitating the credit union’s strategic planning process and plan execution and additionally maintained responsibility for the implementation of TruMark Financial’s enterprise risk management (ERM) program and the fraud, legal, collections, and compliance areas of the credit union.
Kelly’s extensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Communications from Loyola University of Maryland, a Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Joseph’s University. She sits on the National Association of State Credit Unions Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee, as well as the organization’s Inter-State Credit Union Task Force.
Kelly is on the Board of American Red Cross Delaware Valley Chapter and recently joined the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer Chapter for our region. Kelly also sits on an executive committee for the March of Dimes, supporting the annual Signature Chefs Gala’s mission to fight for the health of all moms and babies.
As TruMark Financial’s CEO, Kelly is committed to having the credit union make an even bigger impact in the community. Kelly does most of her philanthropic work through the TruMark Financial Cares Foundation. She believes in their mission of making an impactful difference in our communities by providing support to increase financial empowerment initiatives, fostering community development, and engaging in programs and partnerships designed to improve the quality of life and build a stronger future for families in underserved or low-income communities. She most recently worked with Philabundance, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and Caring for Friends, amongst other truly worthy organizations.
