Holidays mean different things to different people. For some, holidays are about special foods and traditions. Many look forward to sharing the festivities with loved ones, visiting relatives, and spreading good cheer.
TruMark Financial® Credit Union employees wanted to bring some cheer to children who would be hospitalized during the holidays. They partnered with the staff at St. Christopher’s Hospital and received a list of items on the patients’ wish list. Employees generously donated enough new toys to fill two vans. Hospital staff formed a line of gurneys and dallies to transport the huge number of gifts.
“Our employees have the holiday spirit. Knowing they will brighten a child’s life means so much to them,” said Karen Sweeney, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.
