Giving Back

TruMark Financial is dedicated to making a difference and improving the well-being of community members. Throughout the year, TruMark Financial selects different organizations in the community to support. Credit union employees also volunteer their time at various events and initiatives to lend a helping hand.

2023 Community Outreach

Through the Concern for Community initiative, TruMark Financial donated the following:

  • Children’s winter coats to five non-profits that support families
  • Sweatpants to organizations providing transitional housing and/or assistance
  • Cleaning supplies to organizations providing transitional housing and/or assistance
  • Garden supplies to community cooperative gardens
  • Care baskets to senior citizens: walking canes, magnifying glasses, large print cards
  • Kids’ books and crafts to non-profits that support and offer child services
  • Baby care items to local agencies that support new parents
  • Backpacks to organizations that support families dealing with challenging situations
  • Lunch bags filled with snacks for children
  • Thanksgiving baskets for families
  • Mittens and hats for children to five non-profits that support families

Through the Community Giving initiative, Random Acts of Kindness, and Giving Tuesday, donations totaling $143,290 were made to the following organizations:

  • St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children
  • Maternal and Child Health Consortium
  • JFM Food Pantry at Bethanna
  • Family Service Association of Bucks County

  • Community Action Agency of Delaware County
  • Family Promise Montco
  • Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard
  • Families Forward Philadelphia
  • Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger
  • Murphy’s Giving Market
  • Sharing Excess
  • The Foundation for Delaware County
  • Phoenixville Area Community Services
  • March of Dimes

Corporate and individual volunteer efforts

  • Employees volunteered over 2,348 of hours at over 125 different organizations
  • TruMark Financial hosted five Reality Fairs thanks to the help of 188 volunteers
  • Awarded $10,600 in scholarships through our Financial Jeopardy scholarship program

Grants provided through the TruMark Financial Cares Foundation

  • 12 schools received a total of $53,000
