FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — TruMark Financial® Credit Union will be hosting its third annual Building Financial Futures Golf Classic on Monday, July 23, at Talamore Country Club, Ambler, Pa. Registration starts at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. The four-person scramble format tournament commences with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
This is one of many fundraisers the credit union holds in support of its financial literacy initiative, Building Financial Futures. Funds raised provide local schools with grants to purchase resources such as textbooks, computer software programs, and math manipulatives to teach the fundamentals of saving, borrowing, and investing. Without proper education, students may be left behind and become another statistic plagued with debt.
