TruMark Financial Credit Union raised more than $2,400 during its annual Pickleball Fundraiser, bringing together local community members for an afternoon of friendly competition at Dill Dinkers in Lansdale, PA. Proceeds benefited the TruMark Financial Cares Foundation and its mission to make an impactful difference in our communities. The TruMark Financial Cares Foundation provides support to increase financial education initiatives, fosters community development, and engages in programs and partnerships designed to improve the quality of life and build a stronger future for families in underserved or low-income communities.
“At TruMark Financial, we believe that financial education is the cornerstone of a strong and thriving community,” said Kelly Botti, President and CEO of TruMark Financial Credit Union. “Our Pickleball Fundraiser is a perfect example of how coming together for a fun, engaging event can lead to meaningful impact. Thanks to the support of our partners, members, and team members, we’re helping local community members build the confidence and skills they need to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.”
The proceeds raised from the event will directly support financial education programs in schools and the community, fund grants that foster community development, and facilitate partnerships with organizations that uplift underserved or low-income families in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Since its founding, the TruMark Financial Cares Foundation has reached thousands of people across the region through hands-on financial education programs and community grants. The Foundation is run by TruMark Financial’s Corporate Social Responsibility team, with all administrative support donated in-kind, allowing 100 percent of funds raised to go directly toward programming.
