TruMark Financial Credit Union proudly congratulates Jack Eckhardt, Vice President and Director of Government Banking, on being named to City & State Pennsylvania’s 2025 40 Under 40 list. The recognition honors rising leaders who are shaping the future of Pennsylvania through public service, innovation, and community impact.
Eckhardt leads TruMark Financial’s government banking efforts, partnering with school districts and municipalities throughout the region to help manage public funds with transparency, strategy, and purpose. His work ensures that taxpayer dollars are used effectively to benefit local communities.
That same sense of purpose led Eckhardt to found Pass The Play, a nonprofit that collects gently used sports equipment and raises money to cover youth athletic fees for local families. The idea started when he couldn’t find a place to donate his daughters’ outgrown gear. Now, he works directly with schools and athletic directors to get that gear into the hands of kids who need it, keeping more children on the field, in the game, and off the sidelines.
Eckhardt also visits local classrooms to talk with students about the cost of sports and how to think critically about money. He connects financial literacy to tangible examples, such as comparing the cost of a sports season to the price of regular fast-food purchases, helping younger generations understand the tradeoffs behind everyday decisions.
“Jack’s passion for service, both to our members and the broader community, truly reflects what TruMark Financial stands for,” said Kelly Botti, CEO of TruMark Financial Credit Union. “His leadership in government banking and his dedication to empowering local youth through Pass The Play reflect a deep commitment to making a difference. We’re incredibly proud to see him recognized among Pennsylvania’s rising leaders.”
