Small acts of kindness go a long way

Frontline employees at TruMark Financial® Credit Union are considered essential employees and leave the comfort of their home daily to assist members with their financial transactions. Although their appearance may look different with their new accessories—masks and gloves, they continue to provide extraordinary service in the branch as well as in the community.

When TruMark Financial’s Phoenixville branch staff learned the lines were getting longer and longer at Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS), an organization that collaborates with other food pantries in the community to provide clients with healthy, nutritious foods, they wanted to help. “Just knowing people are struggling with Covid-19 and being aware that some people lack the money to feed their family, we knew we had to take action to support our neighbors,” said Denise Garrett, branch manager.

Demonstrating the credit union philosophy “People Helping People,” branch employees donated shopping bags of groceries and cases of water along with a cash donation. Small acts of kindness go a long way.
