Credit union employees making a difference with a blood drive

TruMark Financial^® Credit Union employees and members of the community donated blood at the credit union’s semi-annual blood drive on Feb. 7, to support the American Red Cross. Twenty-four pints of blood were donated which has the potential of saving more than 72 lives. The American Red Cross provides life-saving blood and blood products to patients in hospitals as well as offers relief to victims of disasters. “We value the partnership the credit union has established with the American Red Cross. By working together with the American Red Cross, TruMark Financial and its employees are making a difference in the lives of those affected by disasters,” said Karen Sweeney, senior vice president, chief human resources officer.
