Baby care essentials donated to assist new parents

Caring for a newborn can be overwhelming and expensive. The list of essentials to keep a baby healthy and comfortable seems endless. To make life easier for new parents, TruMark Financial® Credit Union donated a supply of baby care items to organizations that connect families to resources they need. With a selection of baby wipes, lotions, shampoo, grooming kits, bibs, bodysuits, diaper pails, and diaper bags at their fingertips, parents will be well prepared to care for their new family member.

As part of the credit union’s Concern for Community initiative, the following organizations received donations to distribute to their clients:

  • Alianzas de Phoenixville
  • Blessed Margaret of Castello Home
  • Northern Children’s Home
  • Pettaway Pursuit Foundation
  • Wonderspring Narberth Center

The credit union’s involvement in the community expands beyond its Concern for Community initiative. Employees conduct workshops on topics such as saving, budgeting, credit, and investing at local schools and community organizations. The credit union’s TruCommunity program gives employees eight hours of paid time off to allow them to volunteer at a non-profit of their choice.
