Systems Breach Being Investigated

TruMark Financial has been notified by PSCU Financial Services (TruMark Financial's credit card processor) that one of their vendors, Hinda Incentives (“Hinda”), was investigating a potential systems breach. Hinda is the merchandise vendor for the CURewards program and the attack targeted the CURewards website that members visit for general information and rewards redemption. 

Although Hinda has not completed their investigation into this incident, they have advised TruMark Financial that no account number information or member passwords are at risk.  

In response, Hinda has disabled the website’s forgotten password functionality which was exploited by the attackers. Additionally, Hinda will be initiating a procedural change that will require the affected users to re-register online. The re-registration process will require users to choose different supplemental security questions and a new password. Users will see a prompt on the website instructing them to re-register as part of an enhancement to Hinda’s online security.
